Visitors to
Aransas County can make their visit pay by entering the Take Your Best
Shot Photo Contest. The overall winner will be awarded a $1,000.00 cash
prize for the best photo taken in Aransas County!
Three additional prizes of $500 will be awarded to winners in these
subject categories: People/Attractions, Birds/Nature and Fishing.
To
be eligible for this contest, you must NOT be a resident of, or
property owner in, Aransas County. Entries
must be submitted by, and prizes awarded to, persons 18 years of age or
older (parents can submit entries on behalf of their minor children).
All
submissions must include: hard copy of photo, digital jpeg version on CD
(300 dpi), the entrant’s name, address, phone number and
location where the photo was taken. Any
additional information about the shot is optional, but encouraged.
ALL
photos become the property of the Rockport-Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce
and will not be returned.
The
Rockport-Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce will have the right to use ALL
entries in future advertisements.
The
winner will be determined by a vote by the Rockport-Fulton Area Tourism Development Council.
Criteria will be good quality photos that best illustrate the charm of
Rockport-Fulton and create a desire to come here. Deadline for receiving entries is
September 30, 2008.
The
prize will be awarded mid-November 2008. The winner will be notified 30
days in advance of the presentation to be given an opportunity to attend
an award ceremony. If the winner cannot attend, the check will be mailed
to them.

should be submitted in a self-addressed envelope and either mailed to:
